In the mood for a good walk? Any good Tampa resident will tell you to look no further than Bayshore Boulevard, renown for having the world’s longest continuous sidewalk measuring about four and a half miles. It stretches along the bay, where residents can be seen jogging, rollerblading or simply taking in the sparkling views.

John Soliman, Realtor at Keller Williams Realty, describes Bayshore Boulevard as one of Tampa’s most prominent areas.

“Located just minutes from downtown, this area features some of the most lavish homes that Tampa Bay has to offer,” he said. “It is very popular with area doctors, attorneys, bankers, lawyers and other professionals.”

Bayshore Boulevard is also home to 345 Bayshore, a luxury high-rise that offers a community pool, two exercise rooms, saunas, a library, conference room, clubroom, billiards room, laundry, bike storage and 24-hour manned security.

Linda Pate, Realtor with Tampa Bay Realty, is the property manager to several 345 Bayshore residents. “This immaculately maintained high-rise property,” she said, “right on the edge of downtown, borders Davis Islands and gives residents a full gamut of Tampa influences.”

Bayshore also hosts the Gasparilla parade at the end of January, which celebrates the legend of rogue pirate John Gaspar. The average attendance is more than 400,000, making it a yearly highlight for the community.

“Bayshore Boulevard offers any resident the unique experience of living in downtown Tampa without the metro traffic,” Pate said. “With its access to so many of the wonderful things Tampa has to offer, most within walking distance and the bonus of a water view, it is a little piece of heaven in Tampa.”
